In this Project, I was tasked to create a 3D object by assembling 2D shapes. I’m very familiar with polyhedrons, so I decided to make a soccer ball my object of choice. In 2D, I cut 20 equally-sized white hexagons and 10 equally-sized black pentagons. Then I assembled them in two semi-spheres, or bowls, and pieced them together.
